Motherhood and Cancer: Superwomen Celebrities - Christina Applegate
Two words should never go in the same sentence, Motherhood and Cancer...
..but as many would know Cancer does not discriminate. There are some inspirational super women who have faced cancer and motherhood with determination and grace and so in the lead up to Mothers Day we wanted to share the words and stories of some celebrities who are also Mothers who have kicked cancers butt.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008 Christina underwent a double mastectomy, she said "There's this need and desire to make every single day count. Don't sweat the small stuff - not even the big stuff" she told Mamamia last year*.
Cancer takes control over the lives of so many every single day. A diagnosis turns worlds upside down and a strong mindset, whilst so hard to maintain, is so important to have that is why we love these words from Christina.
